Registration

It is possible to transfer an entry to a shorter distance up to 1 month before the event (by September, 2026), subject to availability. In this case, no refund will be issued.

Transfers to a longer distance are also possible up to 1 month before the event (by September, 2026), but these requests are not automatically accepted and will be subject to the approval of the race director. If approved, the difference in registration fees for the new category must be paid.

To request a category change, please contact us by email at chihuahua@service.utmb.world, including your full name, registration code, and the category you wish to transfer to.

All changes are subject to a $15.00 USD processing fee.

When registering for Chihuahua by UTMB, athletes have the option to purchase refundable registration insurance, which provides the possibility of a full refund of the registration fee in accordance with the general terms and conditions of the insurance. You can find the full details here.

If you do not purchase the cancellation insurance at the time of registration, no reimbursement will be possible.

Registrations can be transferred to another athlete. To do so, please send an email to chihuahua@service.utmb.world The organization will reply with the necessary policy and instructions for the transfer process.
