All applicants are required to read, understand, and agree to the Chihuahua by UTMB® Accreditation Terms and Conditions before submitting an accreditation application. There are many reasons for implementing an accreditation process, including prioritising spaces when numbers are limited, and ensuring world class events are represented by world class media. In order to consider the relative merit of every application and ensure that passes are fairly allocated, Chihuahua by UTMB® will apply these guidelines to each of its events. All applications will be considered and passes allocated based on the below priority order.
How Media Accreditation works
Supporting Documentation Chihuahua by UTMB® organizers may request additional documentation from applicants to validate media accreditation requests. Accreditation may be refused at any time.
Application Deadlines All applications must be received 7 days before the event start date. Late applications may not be considered. Please contact lilian.canovas@utmb.world with any questions.
Confirmation Applicants will receive confirmation via email at least 7 days before the event.
Personnel Changes and Non-Attendance Accreditation passes may be transferred within an agency/company with prior notification to the press office. If you are unable to attend, please inform the press office immediately so your pass can be reallocated.
Access Restrictions
- Approval of media accreditation does not guarantee access to all event areas. All media must respect athlete zones and any areas restricted by the organization.
- Respecting the areas delimited for media is mandatory.
Media conduct
All media are expected to behave professionally during the event:
- Treat staff, volunteers, and colleagues with courtesy and respect; aggressive language or swearing may result in immediate revocation of accreditation.
- Wear appropriate clothing that does not pose health or safety risks.
- Capture photos and footage only in permitted areas.
- Use Mixed Zones only for interviews; do not request autographs or athlete poses.
- Alcohol and illegal substances are strictly prohibited in media areas.
- Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the denial or withdrawal of accreditation.
