Step 1 - Get to the event
Chihuahua City
Once you land in the capital of the Estado Grande (Mexico’s Largest State), the next step is making your way to Creel for your bib collection and your booked accommodation. You have two main options:
Book a ride with our partner Travel Agency This is our top recommendation! Let local experts take care of the driving so you can relax and enjoy the journey. No need to worry about directions or road conditions—you’ll be in good hands with people who know the area best.
Rent a car Several rental companies are available at the airport. If you prefer this option, we strongly recommend booking in advance, as demand will be high during the event.
Step 2 - Bib pick-up
Creel
Once in Creel, the shuttle will take you to the Ultra-Trail Village at Hotel Quinta Misión, which also serves as the main Meeting Point in Creel for shuttle services throughout the event weekend.
After collecting your bib, exploring the Expo, and taking plenty of photos, you may want to head to your accommodation for check-in.
If you are staying in Divisadero, the shuttle service will take you there.
If you are staying in Creel, please contact your hotel directly. Most hotels and accommodations offer transfer services within town.
If you have any questions, visit the Transportation Booth located next to the Ultra-Trail Village
Step 3 - Getting to your start line
Batopilas, Cerocahui or Divisadero
Plan ahead!
Shuttle Meeting Points:
- Creel: Hotel Quinta Misión
- Divisadero: Copper Canyon Adventure Park
Please note that the meeting points are not usually within walking distance—especially in Divisadero. We recommend arranging transfers with your hotel or host in advance so you can reach the Meeting Point on time. Boarding begins 15–20 minutes before the scheduled departure.
Don’t forget to bring cash in Mexican pesos. Some accommodations may include this service, while others may not.
Step 4 - Finish line
Divisadero - Copper Canyon Adventure Park
How to get back to my hotel after I finish the race?
For those staying in Creel
You can purchase your ticket on-site at the finish line or through the travel agency via WhatsApp [+52 (614) 414 0062]. Shuttles will run throughout Friday night for athletes arriving late and will take you from Copper Canyon Adventure Park to the Meeting Point in Creel (Hotel Quinta Misión).
The Meeting Point might not be within walking distance to your hotel, if that's your case, we recommend coordinating with your hotel or accommodation host in advance to arrange transfers from the Meeting Point to your lodging. While it’s difficult to know your exact finish time, provide an approximate time to your hotel and keep their phone or WhatsApp number handy so you can contact them when you are ready to be picked up.

A few tips
Don’t worry—while this may sound complicated, it’s all part of the adventure in the remote Copper Canyons. Event staff will always be available to assist you or coordinate with your hotel at anytime if needed.
Bring cash in Mexican pesos, as some accommodations include this service while others do not.
Be sure to keep a fleece or light jacket in your drop bag, as nights can get chilly.
Step 5 - Plan your airport transfer
Plan ahead when booking your airport transportation, allowing enough time before your flight. The trip from Creel to Chihuahua City takes approximately 4 hours, with an additional hour if you are departing from Divisadero.
